      TRANSFORMING THE WORLD

      LEARN MORE

Be part of the industry that is shaping the world we live in.Our foundries produce cast components that are used in all areas of everyday life – in cars, trains and planes, from energy generation to mobile phones – we take metal scrap and recycle it into new, highly engineered parts.

    It’s liquid metal engineering!

Contact us for information about apprenticeships and careers in the industry.

    Need for SpeedDid you know?

    • All of the turbine blades in modern jet engines are castings!
    • Foundries in the UK cast all of the engines for Formula One!
    • All brake discs in passenger cars are castings, so we keep people safe!

    A Green IndustryDid you know?

    • Most castings are made from recycled metal so without castings there would be piles of scrap metal damaging our local environment.
    • Castings are also used in offshore wind installations and tidal power installations so we help the global environment.
    • Foundries also recycle most of the sand they use, over and over again!

Castings are everywhere – anywhere you can think off.  I like seeing these supercars with our parts on and thinking ‘I made that!’.  Be involved in an industry that basically builds the country

Vicky Clark, former Foundry Student, now Senior NPI Engineer, South East of England.

They take scrap and turn it into something brilliant.  The scrap comes from everywhere – that then get melted and poured into moulds to create the casting.  What excites me is the innovation – the possibilities are endless

Tom Fenyes, Trainee Foundry Technician, East Midlands.

What inspires me is the ability to imagine and then create – there is never a day the same

Alex Goodwin, Foundry Technician, West Midlands.
